On a sunny spring day
Oskar and I went to play ping-pong on a stone table
outside in the city.
It smelled like bright spring in Berlin
and was almost warm.
We played.
When the ball hit or grazed the grid.
it sounded musical in our ears
We recorded the clatter of the ball
with the microphone of the phone.
The audio snippets were sampled,
and became the inspiration
for "Berlinwind".
